If we compare the batting lineup of england with us , we can clearly see our weakness.

We really need a medical miracle to progress to semis. 

 

Anyway best way to avoid disappointment is not to expect much in the first place.

Unfortunately we are back in 1999 when our only target was to beat Pakistan in worldcup.

We are in a mess at the moment, middle order looks deplorable, we don't have good strike bowler apart bumrah n kuldeep. Complete mess and I don't see us coming out of it.

Sad but true.Despite having 5 champion players,the other 6 are fuddus.This middle order is unsustainable.I blame team management's lack of vision,long term planning and nepotism for this state of affairs.

Believe me, England will repeat the performance they had against us in odi series. There has been some serious effort by ECB to prop up white ball cricket.

Even 2015 was no different..

People were only Hoping to beat Pakistan only as we had not won anything previous year apart from beating depleted England side.

This time it will be different.India is going to be in wc after IPL where everyone would be looking invincible..Although result will be same as 2015.Expect to dominate Group stage.Pakistan match is the only I will be looking for among that 9 matches.

With the WC19, 2010s would be coming to an end as well. We make take the initiative to build team for 2020s

This world cup will be really interesting to see.. so many teams that are equally matched....any team can beat anyone on their day... so unlike the earlirr cups.. last cup that I can think of being so close is 1992 I guess..  India,England,kiwis, Pakistan, Australia (come the worldcup time) , south Africa in those conditions.. even Afghans and Bangladesh to compete... Windies if they get back their core and gel as a team.. Lankans for the odd surprise.. super stuff..

Not really, If we have Rohit as captain and Kohli accept it and does his role, I am sure that England, India and Smiths Australia are favorites
