The number of selections of CSK players into Indian ODI and T20 team after IPL 2018 was quite over the top. Deepak Chahar, R Jadeja, Raina, Rayudu, S Thakur. Chahar, Jadeja and Thakur didn't really have a smashing IPL. Raina has always been very good in IPL but was done internationally a few years ago. Rayudu has been a fairly decent IPL player for Mumbai over the years, had a very good 2018 IPL but most of his runs came at the top of the order and Indian team already had surplus of top order players, but still they picked him. My guess is Rayudu wouldn't have made a comeback to the Indian team last year if he hadn't played for CSK. GolGappe and Laaloo 2
