Some locals had recorded the plane blowing up and pilot ejected in jungle near your side of LoC ( posted on this forum as well) Like we show captured/killed terrorists in action happening on our soil, it is for Pakistan to show what happened in their controlled area. Those images were being used more than 24 hours ago by Pakistanis as proof of PAF downing Indian jets. There’s no sound reasoning as to why Pakistan would use an F-16. The F-16 is our best jet and common sense would suggest you’d only employ in dire situations. The jet being a JF-17 is much more likely.

Dont believe anything from Pakistani media unless its confirmed. Pakistani never reported any casuality. They reported: Two indian jets Two indian Pilots in their captivity. Apana F-16 bhi hamare loss mein add kar diye. Wreckage shows F-16. But , Hats off to Abhinandan! Bhai Mig se F16 maar diyaa. Probably F-16 fighters didnt realise ko vo LoC ke andar ghoos jaaye gaa. Answer is in your question..it is indeed a dire situation for Pakistan. They don't have many options, do they?

Poyz did well” It is embarrasing for an F-16 to be shot down by a mig-21...hence the reluctance to accept.
