The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday named four fast bowlers to assist Team India in their preparation for World Cup 2019. The list released by the cricket board on their official website includes Navdeep Saini, Avesh Khan, Khaleel Ahmed and Deepak Chahar. The impressive bunch of young pacers Saini, Khaleel and Chahar have displayed their potential for their respective franchises in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019. While Avesh featured in only a solitary match in the ongoing season of the lucrative season.

Khallel and Chahar two trundlers being classified as fast bowlers. Haven't seen both of them bowl over 140+ in whatever matches i have watched in recent times. Maybe the odd delivery. These journalists do not even know the speed range of fast. Unadkut and Bhuvi who too bowl between 130- 140 will nect be classified as fast.

Wud have pref - rajpoot, prasidh instead of chahar , but atleast 3 good choices

Khaleel isnt a trundler.

Prasidh should have been picked too as the 5th fast bowler.  Tall and bouncy guy bowling quick ... would be ideal practice for facing Rabada, Archer, Cummins, Thomas, Gabriel etc.

 

Saini and Avesh are good picks. Both international type quick bowlers.

 

And Khaleel may give practice for facing tall left arm medium fast pacers like Beherendorf, Shaheen Afridi etc.

Yes ... the BCCI website showing Saini, Avesh, Khaleel and Chahar.

 

But Prasidh is a much more international type fast bowler for the purpose of giving practice ... than say a Chahar.

if chahar improves/shows his death bowling skills , he will be a big threat to bhuvis spot in the team

Those conditions don't exist anymore atleast in 50 over format,they will make sure it is ultra flat

Ya it's very similar to chennai condition where chahar looks like hadlee. Anyway isn't after last ipl he traveled to eng and Scotland during t20 where he has been thrashed like no tomorrow.

Chahar may be because of his lateral movement. But glad Saini is in the mix.
