The thing about BD is, they really rile up other teams. They are a good team, but the way they can make weird situations like Sl supporting India , and Ind-Pak fans supporting each other genuinely etc..its very wierd.

Because they want to create artificial rivalry when there is none. They don't like the fact that the established rivalries between the teams have developed organically over decades and incase of the ashes it's about more than a century old.

India have played so much cricket against kiwi, windies, lankans, saffers but still we got only two well established rivalries - Australia and Pakistan. Even the rivalry against England has matured only over the past decade.

Bangladesh cannot accept this..

in essence its that sense of belonging, the respect that they should have earned by now which they did with a few good victories in bilateral only to wash away with their obnoxious behavior.

Funnily Afghanistan cricketers like Rashid khan and others play passionate cricket but they still managed to have developed a little bit of fan following even among the Indian fans.

Something the 'worlds greatest all-rounder since kallis' Mr. Shakib couldn't. I don't think anyone outside BD look forward to watching his play, despite all his gifts.

Afg is extremely lucky, they had long clear development path in LOI with similar teams all through, they never had the trouble that Zim and BD had of having to face superior skilled teams for long periods. In t20 era AFG have a home in India and contracts around the globe for their players. I bet they wont grow fast in Test cricket.

This is quite true. Which idiot thought that it would be a great idea to provide a team test status when their first class cricket was close to nothing.

Saw the China cricket documentary. Their ex captain teaches China to play/learn cricket. In one of his interview he stated that when they got test status, their root cricket level was not even set up. Learned pretty much everything in international cricket.

P.s y'all should check out the Chinese/Korean cricket development documentary. Quite interesting on how a game not even known to 99% of the population is starting to take form.
