Good attempt from Pakistani batsmen to get so close to the target. Sarfaraz playing 32 deliveries with only 2 fours in his 41 is poor. Smart cricket in last few overs should've won them this match.

More than the bowling, captaincy of Morgan is atrocious. I know crappy bowling leaks 300 plus consistently. They did in Windies. Now here. closer look will reveal it is the lack of planning from Morgan as a captain is clearly telling. He is not a good captain. He just wants to outbat the opposition hoping opposition will fold under scoreboard pressure. His lack of game awareness is obvious.

Need guys like Pant to open for Ind .... It is difficult to lose too many wkts on some of the grounds where most batsmen will back themselves to get 50+

Archer will be key for England. 

 

But Pak batted really well here , on a similar patta India were bowled out for 158 in the CT final.

Eng bowling sucks,they almost conceded 375 against Pak but then this is an absolute patta,wickets upfront is the key

Wood,Archer should be playing

India would have made heavy weather of this chase despite the pitch being patta here

According to cricviz, Only 7 ODIs since 2006 have had easier batting conditions than this game. Very little swing, seam or bounce . Even by English standards (since 2015) , this is one of the easiest pitches to bat on. That said the likes of Woakes and Plunkett should be replaced by Archer and Wood. Otherwise even 400 won't be enough to defend for this team.

If Eng wants to get anywhere near the WC, they need to include Archer. Otherwise their bowling will outrun their batting almost always.
