No way he is going to risk being exposed. He should have been our no.4 when we are struggling to fill that position. But he is apparently a finisher when we have a target of 20 from 100 balls but when we have to score 8-9 rpo then he is our tail.

There is a good chance some of the tailend batsmen of other teams that might have gotten closer to the target.

So you want him to eat more balls in the crucial middle stage with 4 outfielders?  And suck more momentum?  Reality is that he's #7 bat.  Who comes up early only if we are 80/4.   Let Pant, Pandya, even Jadhav, bat in the 4 outfielder phase of the ODIs.

ideally, he should bat at 8 below Bhuvi if the latter plays. we need to minimize the damage he causes.
