Pant will be ATG wicketkeeper

No shame if he breaks Thala records

But thala has been blocking future ATG wicket keeper's spot in ODIs and T20s for 2 years now. :hitler:

Don't worry, Rohit will deliberately under perform for Sachin's record to be protected.

He does not want to experience the wrath of God.

If not for Rohit, it will be Warner who will perform. It's better be Rohit instead of being Warner who rewrites this record.

Won the main cup when needed!!! That's all that matters

Another retarded answer which has nothing to do with the question. I can guarantee you are not let out of the house without a bib and a helmet

Why is lame Sachin baiting allowed by the mods but a serious, eloquent grievance against Dhoni deleted? :hmmm:

Mods are deliberately encouraging trolls here. No other forum will tolerate someone like @Rasgullafor a second . His every single post is just to bait and instigate and it's very very clear he has been put to task by some other poster here

That was a stupid decision, we would have win without dhonis innings but not without gambhirs innings

We might not have won without Sachin's innings as well

I suspect @CSK Fan might be behind him

Read the thread morons. Sachin's record is in danger. Not Dhoni's record. Dhoni doesn't care about records. He is not the one who tries to take singles in the 40th over for his century with 7 men inside the 30 yard circle to get to his useless milestone. If it was upto Dhoni, he would up the run rate in that situation. See this pic and take your BP pill

Happy that Shakib threat is now over. As much as I respect his performance this WC (GOAT stats and impact :hatsoff:) had he broken Tendy's record there would have been a full blown Toyger invasion on Indian web space :phew:.

Hope Rohit (and/or Kohli, very slim chance) breaks this cherished record and sets an even more impressive tally like say 800 . Only Indians must be owners of this prestigious laurel

Did Shakib too play only 8 innings ? Good achievement.  Rohit's record too was in 8. Otherwise the toygers would have boasted till the cows came home

For that Rohit/kohli must do due penance to Lord Vadapaaji (pbuh) in mind. THey must immerse themselves in the holy twitter ganga river of Lord's account and praise the lord saying the lord batted in difficult conditions for the record. Then the LORD will confirm it and give due blessings for the record transfer under the proviso that these came under easy batting conditions

The argument of difficult conditions and bowling is partially true. Big sachin fan here, but need to agree on the fact, the game moves on. The evolution goes on and next gen cricketers became more athletic and break bigger records. There are good articles on cricinfo that in cricket, dominance of batting and bowling is a cycle. We are in the golden period of batting now.
