Gollum
LINK Wtf happening? Thala asking for advice, that too from a pesky Bambi. Quote He was a great all-rounder, with quite a few valiant knocks as an opener, who is presently weaving an impressive story as the head coach of the Indian cricket team. But few remember that Ravi Shastri was also a handy left-arm spinner having taken 151 wickets in Tests and 129 in ODIs. And on Friday, it was veteran Indian wicketkeeper-batsman MS Dhoni, who turned to Shastri for a piece of advice or two on how to counter spin deliveries. The variety of deliveries has largely affected Dhoni's threatening strike rate through the course of 2018 and presently in World Cup 2019. Off the 233 runs he managed in the ongoing tournament, Dhoni has scored 41 runs off 87 spin deliveries. His strike rate against spin, that has largely been the opposition's tactic against the former Indian skipper, has drawn flak from all corners of the cricket fraternity. But Dhoni seems eager to shrug off the difficulty. And so, after a long net session on Friday in Leeds, he had a chat with Shastri on playing spinners. Through his wrist actions, it was evident that the coach was explaining Dhoni about how a spinner uses the seam and gets the ball to drift in the air. As per IANS, the conversation lasted for almost 20 minutes before Dhoni walked off to check the pitch, while Shastri headed back to the dressing room. . . . धोनी और शास्त्री के बीच करीब 20 मिनट तक हुई बातचीत, जानिए क्या है मामला Edited July 6, 2019 by Gollum asterix 1 Link to comment

diga
Not sure how many of you remember, but Gilly was going through an indifferent 2007 world cup and then he altered his grip using a squash ball in his left glove. That innings is characterized as one of the greatest in a final Needs some unconventional advice and Dhoni needs to be open minded to try it out Edited July 6, 2019 by diga Link to comment
