MechEng Posted July 10, 2019 Posted July 10, 2019 Dhoni received kicks many times but he is such a sloth that kicks are not sufficient to move him out of team. He lazily strolled out of test team in 2014 before the series ended to avoid the embarrassment of getting kicked out later.

Bhuvi's lack of wickets in the initial spell made the difference. Look how NZ bowlers took wickets in the first 5 overs. Bhuvi doesn't bowl bad but he doesn't pick wickets. Period. It was a difficult wicket yesterday for the first 10 overs but it felt like a minefield today. Too much moisture due the rain overnight.

Biggest issue of Bhuvi is he never bowls full length. If only we had some one like Deepak chahar along with shami. Both could have eaten NZ batsman alive. Pollack 1

How on earth can you leave your one the most wicket taking bowler from the team just because of one bad match. Shami could have been the difference maker here. Captain and coach for the last 12 months have spent more energy defending Dhoni than in grooming right players for middle order slots. Both of them should lose their positions. Kohli, after back to back surrenders in two ICC tournaments (primarily due to bad team selections) cannot remain the LOI captain. Shastri obviously has to go. Not winning the WC with so many incredibly talented players around has to be seen as a failure. Funny thing is Dhoni, despite being horrible as a keeper and his selfish batting, most likely will still continue (his PR mafia will ensure that).
