The main question posed to each of the participants of every country was asking if said participants would be comfortable being neighbors with people of a race that was not the same as the participants’ race.

not the right way to measure racism  :whack:

US is not racist ? Nice joke. Go and talk to majority of Trump supporters.

They might be but we take the cake ;)

LOL at Bakis being so down the list, they caused the greatest post WW-2 genocide in the name of racism.

Dunno about other countries but hear of many racism related complaints from acquaintances based in W, E and SE Asia, esp Gulf/Singapore/Malaysia. But we have to improve A LOT, final ranking is immaterial, the fact that we find ourselves on that list is pathetic.

Modi has upset too many folks.

Rant it out in Twitter, compare India to Nazi Germany and come up with such surveys. None of them will heal the burn of revoking article 370.

The survey itself is racist. There is no organization in India which conducts such surveys and decides which country is racist. People too attached to discussing racism are secretly racists themselves.

How many people emigrate to India a year?

How likely is an Indian to end up with a foreigner as a neighbour.

Depending on which neighbourhood of Mumbai/Delhi you stay in, you could have Bangladeshi neighbours.

Not surprising.

We don't spare our own ....

We have difficulty considering our own blood brothers and sisters as equal because someone called them a different caste.( irrespective of religion)

Our elders are the biggest culprits who still teach this crap to the next generation .

No one can deny that we are racists as people in general.

Only the next generation can change this if we as a generation can stop our elders from polluting the minds of the next generation .

There is a nazm called Chaklay by Sahir Ludhianvi. It was penned immediately post independence as a diatribe against Pandit Nehru.

Guru Dutt modified the nazm and made a full blown bollywood number in the movie pyaasa.

The song is relevant even in today's social milieu.

Ye kooche ye nilaam ghar dilkashi ke
Ye lutate huye caravan zindagi ke
Kahaan hain kahan hain muhafiz khudi ke
Jinhe naaz hai Hind par wo kahaan hain
Kahaan hain kahaan hain kahaan hain

Ye purpech galiyaan ye badnaam bazaar
Ye gumnaam raahi ye sikkon ki jhankaar
Ye ismat ke saude ye saudon pe taqraar
Jinhe naaz hai Hind par wo kahaan hain
Kahaan hain kahaan hain kahaan hain

Ye sadiyon se bakhauf sehmi si galiyaan
Ye masli huyi adhkhili zard kaliyaan
Ye bikti huyi khokhli rangraliyaan
Jinhe naaz hai Hind par wo kahaan hain
Kahaan hain kahaan hain kahaan hain

Wo ujle darichon mein paayal ki chhan chhan
Thaki haari saanson pe table ki dhandhan
Ye berooh kamron mein khaansi ki thanthan
Jinhe naaz hai Hind par wo kahaan hain
Kahaan hain kahaan hain kahaan hain

Ye phoolon ke gajre ye pikon ke chhinte
Ye bebaak nazrein ye gustaakh fiqrein
Ye dhalke badan aur ye bimar chehre
Jinhe naaz hai Hind par wo kahaan hain
Kahaan hain kahaan hain kahaan hain

Zara mulk ke rahbaron ko bulaao
Ye kooche ye galiyaan ye manzar dikhaao
Jinhe naaz hai Hind par unko laao
Jinhe naaz hai Hind par wo kahaan hain
Kahaan hain kahaan hain kahaan hain

Not really. Racism is purely based on race, Not on beliefs. It would only be racism if the people had issues with a person’s race while them believing a certain islamic sect. Look up the definition if you do not know.

You are going by literal meaning.

I am going by the  unfairness of discrimination when it is based on one being a certain way.

By your definition ,even Indians will not be racist because discrimination within the race is not racist.

With the rest ...both nationalities are same . Gora and kaala are used liberally for foreigners.

Remember your national team captain calling the West Indians kaale on the field.

I am going by the definition of it which is the true meaning of it. The word your looking for is intolerance. Who ever uses racism for people who discriminate others of there own race are using it wrong.

As for what my national captain said was racism. I don’t agree with it. He was wrong to do so. No captain of any national team should say that.

So on what basis are you calling Indians racists and pakistanis not racists ?

How many racist Indians have you seen ?
