But helpful pitch for bowlers makes it more interesting for test matches. Flat pitches for a test is worse than watching paint dry.

I meant from WI prospective. One of the WI commies was commenting that he has never seen such a green track on this ground. To me it indicated that WI still thinks Indian batsman will hop around on green track no wonder they decided to bowl first. Worst case we will still be close to 325 which would be a great score. On a flat deck WI could have still walked away with possible 20 points.

Jadeja's consistent display of application with the bat is so heartening to see. It is vital for our no 8 to bat well since 9 10 and Jack are pretty fragile.

Current Indian batting line up is like watching paint dry.

 

Surely a more enterprising batsmen is required at number 6. 

 

Vihari very limited on the back foot. 

 

Indian test batting line is not exciting anymore.

 

In terms of entertainment there is no contest between this line up and the following.

 

Sehwag, Gambhir, Dravid, Tendulkar, Laxman, Ganguly, Dhoni

Gone are the times when I would anticipate an Indian batting on sundays or whenever I could get the time. This batting unit is dull and boring. Right from top to bottom. It’s a snoozefest. 

On the other hand, I wouldn’t mind watching Bumrah bowl a few overs..absolute thrill and joy !!
