Maybe he picked it up unconsciously while spending time with Pollock and other commentators.  It happens to me too sometimes.

 

But a professional commentator is usually hyper-aware of what he sounds like - so its clearly a conscious choice to persist with it. 

 

It comes across as super cringy to me - which is typical Bhogle.   Just like his use of the word "batsmanship".  batting bol na chiewtiye.

WI have started horribly. Instead of going after the medium pacers from the get go they're playing like some pub team. The game seems to be over already
