Kuldeep Yadav and Shami- Good enough to be ICC ODI Team of 2019, not good enough for 2019 WC SF

Shami and Kuldeep have been named in the ICC ODI 11 of the year. But both were considered not good enough by Kohli to play in WC SF.

 

ICC ODI Team of the Year (in batting order): Rohit Sharma, Shai Hope, Virat Kohli (captain), Babar Azam, Kane Williamson, Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler (wicketkeeper), Mitchell Starc, Trent Boult, Mohammed Shami, Kuldeep Yadav

 

Also, Morgan, the WC winner and not Kohli should be leading this team.

Both should have played. Shami i know at times can leak run in death but he could have also picked kane williamson & ross taylor's wicket early. You can't keep wicket taking bowlers out and expect to win matches with containing bowlers. Pandya, Bhuvi & Jaddu are 3 containing bowler. Only bumrah and chahal were wicket takers.

Shami made most of his wickets against minors Afghanistan and west indies. This australia match was how he is generally against non minnows on LOIs
