mani sha Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 People might disagree but we are the new old english side let me explain - watching english cricket in the 90s was a certainty of a theme - formula batting , formula bowling and some decent home performances but nothing great and zero icc trophies . our current team has similar vibe - no power players - openers who do not use power play well - lack of quality all rounders - inexplicable formulas and excuses - example we believe in process not results - a toxic captain with more toxic coach . A board which focussed more on ipl than its loi format players we deserve a 3-0 thrashing and hope we have some more sandeep, diehardpacer, nevada and 2 others 2 3

Arvind32 Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 Not Really , you got so much talent in this country but Indian system is not think past Dhoni , Yadav or Thakur because that’s but make people like Kohli one of the best . the talent like Shubman Gill , Sarfraz Khan , Ryan Pirag , Avesh Khan been made work like a donkey before even they give up on their own . So problem is your system not players , once you fix that 5-10 Kohli will be knocking the door , also not to mention to hire someone who can identify the talent and speed up to fore .

Just need to sort out a lower order batsmen, kick out Thakur, If Kohli had performed in the series it would have been better. Kohli is the key to our line up if Rohit isnt' playing.

Do you really think that Jadeja an alrounder , Manish Pandey , even Iyer deserve a chance over these young stars ....

Yes I do, Gill will get his chances in test series just like Shaw did in odis.There are only 11 spots and it needs to be filled with bowlers and allrounders too. Let Sarfraz who has done well for half a season do it for little longer first before we call him once in generation player.Once in a generation players don't get kicked out from their IPL team.

Iyer though has showed flair and is ok .
