My point what’s point of this innings 11 of 81 .. if we are to loose , why not lose early by playing shots .. we may just ge my away with it ..

both just make you lose, one temporarily delays it while one does it on the spot.

I am shocked at how posters here are defenfing pujara's game. This guy has been a disappointment outside asia (except aus) his avgs in nz, Sa, eng are below average.

No, he is not the best test batsman,  from india, not even close, kohli is a level above this shotless wonder.

certainly. he's more in VVS Laxman mould than Dravid.

Very idea of bowling round the wicket was for that type of dismissal lol So it was a reckless leave

Zaheer used to do that. Angle in seam out. For some reason, he thought it would seam out. Definite brain fade. Now loss seems inevitable. Chokohli will not survive long. Even if India put up 300, it is still a small total for NZ to chase.

Twin failures for Pujara. Twin failures for Shah. I can forgive Shah. But Pujara has to revisit his technique here. He has to find a way to get to the other end He allows the bowlers set his wicket up. I didn't expect him to do well in OZ. He did. So i expected him to do well here. But he is not.

NZ may score 350+ .... then it could be Boult’s turn to skittle Ind out in 2nd inning :((

Boult :((

This is probably the most under-prepared Indian side to tour NZ.  None of them look like they can conquer these conditions. Even Dhawan played much better last time.

Our A side would have fared much better. They played 2 practice matches and did pretty well.

India would need at the very very least 150 runs to try and threaten NZ in the 4th innings.

Im still not confident they can even make the deficit from here.

Blame BCCI and TM for this. They play and bash minnows on home soil. It give them the false signal that they can come and roll over NZ. Especially winning all 5 t-tontees at the beginning of the tour was the worst thing to happen. Bewda needs to go.

Pujara himself must be disgusted at his innings. He will come back well in the next match for sure..

Totally agree. Most boring and just stuck on first gear.

Well tbh don’t think we will Never get another dravid ... instead of watching the likes of pujara and Rahane fail... I would rather watch gill , panchal , easwaran fail ...

Heck no. VVS was special. This guy is indeed a flightless bird. Shotless wonder indeed.

VVS was good in Asia and Australia. he was decent in NZ, SA, and England. thats why the comparison.

Pujara is shotless wonder, vvs was one of the best shot makers, he could hit the same ball in three different directions, theres no comparison.
