Dropping him for an extended period of time will not just work wonders for our team but also his own batting. I want to see him  dropped for the Aus away tests later this year, also next year's Eng home series.....light some fire under his ass.

Since 2016 his only meaningful contribution has been that semi-ATG partnership with Pujara in Bengaluru 2017 against Aussies. That was a clutch knock by him, esp since he was struggling a lot. A couple of big scores but talking about impact here.

really frustrating to see the likes of Rahane still  playing  at the expense of several promising youngsters.  '4 straight off colour  performances' in each one of SENA for a batsman supposed to perform  far more in these conditions ... Another one ...Pujara...  Both of these are just killing all the hopes of the fans. An arrogant  insecure  dumb ass captain +   drunkard parasite coach  completes the disaster.

Wagner to Rahane, 1 run, dropped at deep square by Colin de Grandhomme! This could've been the Test, and the series, right there for India. Absolute brainfade from Rahane as he falls for the trap in trying to fetch a pull from outside off, was high in the air, he got both hands to it but was on the move as he bobbled it

Wagner to Rahane, OUT, he's chopped this onto the stumps! That's the end of one of the most bizarre knocks Rahane would play. This is another short ball, came a lot slower off the surface. Rahane walks to the off side, looks to help it along to fine leg but is taken aback by the slowness of the delivery, nearly through with the shot as the ball arrived, got some bat on it and straight onto the stumps. Wagner has deserved this wicket.
