Clarke Posted July 8, 2020 Posted July 8, 2020 So looking forward to this game, been ages since we viewed live cricket. Hope ENG WI PAK IRE all stay uninfected and set a protocol for future tours.
ssurenn Posted July 8, 2020 Posted July 8, 2020 So finally Live cricket action is back with some restriction
Nikhil_cric Posted July 8, 2020 Posted July 8, 2020 England are clear favourites in the first test match in a post Covid-19 world on what could be a slow deck going by the practice match played here. That said, the West indies tend to lift their game significantly whenever they play England as seen in the various Wisden trophy bilaterals over the decades. Bess over Leach and possibly dropping Broad while integrating a 38 year old Jimmy returning from injury are the only selections likely to raise eyebrows. While both sides should have competent bowling attacks in these conditions, England are comfortably the better batting side and are quite a force at home, not having lost a home series in over 6 years.
Mosher Posted July 8, 2020 Posted July 8, 2020 Excited to see some live cricket but weather might play spoilsport.
Stan AF Posted July 8, 2020 Posted July 8, 2020 Broad could be dropped for Wood. Archer, Anderson and Wood will be the trio of attack.
ssurenn Posted July 8, 2020 Posted July 8, 2020 Toss has been delayed in the first test between England vs West Indies.

Aussies are sure shot finalists. NZ/Ind will be the other ones. It's gonna be close.
