So what our t20 side looks like?

have a look

Rohit(takes atleast 10-12 deliveries to get going,in t20s its unacceptable)

Dhawan(played well today but hasn't done noteworthy in t20s)

Rahul(has slowed down and mid innings batting is huge worry)

Iyer(mediocre guy,unfit for t20s can't play pace at all)

Pandey(lacks muscle)

Pandya(only silver lining in the lineup)

Jadeja(fraud)

Saini

Shami

Chahal

Bumrah

 

We can't win shyte with this line up let alone WCs

Why have been Kishan,SKY been kept out ?

Not a fan of KL's captaincy atm. A captain should be from   (Bumrah/Hardik) to pursue those kind of methodologies -> smart attacking cricket

Batting is too shallow. Tail starts early. Mayne bring in Samad or Tewatia.

I would not let go Samson so early looking at the last couple of games he played and changes in his game he is trying  . Test Samson first as keeper , if he fails then look for others .

TBH our t20 side wont get better unless we get rid of 2 among rohit/kohli/dhawan....not that rohit n kohli have done bad but they affect the side in an overall way. Even if one stays among them things will improve. 

Once again Dhawan, jadeja will book their places based on bilateral only to screw us in the end, this is a never ending cycle and kohli and shastri will never learn

 

• we need to make a left right left pattern
• get rid of ODI specialist 
• Also Devdutt, Kishen, pant, samad would be far more evolved in next 2-3 yrs and so wud be Mavi, tyagi, Nagarkotti

Samson is essentially a top 4 batsman. I think SKY would be a better choice based on current form.

 

Samson can be in the reserves.

Yes top 3 generally takes 22-24 deliveries combined to get going so makes only 16 overs to play with

This is job of data analysts ,what are they getting paid for?

Root cause of our pathetic performance in t20s and we haven't started grooming guys like Abhishek,Samad for LMO role yet

T20s aren't mean to look beautiful, elegant its all about scoring runs at high strike rates

Our mindset needs to change.  Y'day Sunny G was telling Samad hasn't done much in the IPl despite him having few opportunities to bat & later had to eat his words. 

These same guys praise Kohli,  Iyer Rohit for their consolidation game endlessly & want our team to be 40/0 in Powerplay.

Samad has the 5th highest Strike Rate in this IPL (  171 )   while averaging 22.2.  Batted in just 8 innings. 

 

And they call this a failure.

 

Our whole approach to T20s is wrong.

We are waiting to get relegated to pak,sl level in terms of performance (even sl has exciting players)to realize true demands of modern cricket,TM and selectors and our ex cricketers all need to be proactive why wait for dark days to make changes

these are genuine fast bowlers in australia- saini shammi boom Prasidh Siraj. i dont expect chahal to suceed in australia so only SUNDAR( I am sure his fastish spin will get turn and bounce both)

 

have picked sundar ahead of jaddu as a marginal call. i dont expect Jaddu to be a prolific batsman on australian tracks. Sundar has mastered run stopping spin bowling where as jaddu is hit by one and all on australian grounds.

bahut arse se kehna chahta tha Sunny G totally Ch**** gaye hai , the amount of garbage he has uttered in this IPL is endless.....after Manju Sunny G shud be the next one who shud be off the commentary panel
