He didnt even complete his quota today. This is embarrassing, while we look for a wickettaker, this guy cant be relied to finish his overs. Teams have Adil Rashid, Santner, Zampa who take critical wickets in the middle overs while we have this buffoon. Even Pakistan have found this Qadir guy who looks a talent.

 

Do we even have anybody who can do this job? Chahar was unimpressive in IPL aswell, Bishnoi is not international class. Mighty important to have a spinner who takes wickets with the pacers not looking good.

I remember even in the IPl when he was smashed by Mayank & then lolli didn't completed his quota & then in few other games as well.  Biggest fraud going around in Indian cricket.  Should be kicked out ASAP. 

Rahul Chahar is much better than him..  I'll even keep Kuldeep in the mix

Chahal has been going under the radar for sometime now. To his credit he did exceptionally well in SA and NZ in couple of series before WC but that feels like long time ago..

most surprising is his repertoire or the lack of it for a modern day wrist spinner.. has the weakest googly in the game, flipper isnt good. Basically a one dimensional leg spinner who gets wickets when the opposition is trying to attack.  
To be frank, Kuldeep too isnt great.. we need someone like Zampa or fastish spinners like Rashid. 

 

All this could change if we have a home series against the weaker teams or if we play on turning tracks

He's bowled rubbish and has been for sometime now. But stop talking like he has always been bad. He performed exceptionally in his first two years and his stat shows that. 

 

He is done probably and let's move on but don't forget that he did very well for a short period of time and helped us win us our first ever odi series in SA. 

 

Stop abusing each and every player once they go thorough a slump. Maybe none of you have played cricket in real life.

His "skinny" looks don't quite sit well with their insecure self-image.  Chahal is a quality spinner.  And quite underrated.

 

Funnily enough, one of the inaccurate criticisms hurled at Chahal is that supposedly he gets "nervous" when attacked.  Which is simply nonsense. The guy is one of the best in the business at changing his line at the last second when the batsmen charges at him.  You cant' do that consistently if you are "nervous".  And all these little kiddies claim Kuldeep is better in this aspect - while Kuldeep has repeatedly shown that T20 is not his best format because he is the one who can't handle it that well when under the pump.
