Indian team need to move on from Shikhar Dhawan and his slow starts and lets not forget his pathetic fielding and smiling after dropping catches but will his Delhi buddy and his wife let that happen?

Yeah I was so pissed at that slip doly drop and he has done it too many times.  He should not be in slips.  

 

He looked kinda nervous/embarassed after catching Finch too - his confidence was clearly 'shook' but he went with the cringe regardless.

That’s because even when he caught it, he fluffed it once and caught it on the second chance. Not a safe catcher anywhere, I don’t know why he stands in slips.

All these Dhawan type of guys need one good inning in 5 games to keep spot in the team. Where as guys like Gill and Mayank will need one bad inning to be kept out.

We may be in a for shock by WC 2023 looking at recent injury record of Rohit . Looking at his fitness , quite likely he will get injured in high intensity games of WC even if he is in form . Need a very capable proven back up opener as stand by .

Hence time is ripe for playing only 1 of Rohit , Shikhar in all future games .

 Totally. But then what else can we expect when we have a captain who can't even win an IPL
