I was talking about his technique point of view,he still has same loose technique if any one following domestic matches knows he always been domestic bully nothing new.

Difficult to judge a batsman's technique against the moving ball when there is no movement on offer. He was indeed playing away from his body and there was a gap between bat and pad. But these are conditions suitable for this kind of game. He did make the most of the powerplay with this method.

No need to rein him in. That approach has got him a record 800+ run in VHT. Yes he can be a bit smarter which he will learn as he plays more. But like Sachin told him,no need to change too much.

 

We have far too many accumulators at the top of the order. Good to have dashers.
