Kumble yes, 90s was infamous for our turners. Almost all matches produced results.

Bhajji not so much, I can count maybe 4 genuine rank turners in his career, with Ashwin I'd say 6 and that number is likely to shoot up in his remaining career. But OTOH offies now can't bowl doosra.

Sorry but Ashwin is way better than Harbhajan. Harbhajan always lived under the shadow of Kumble. For most of his career, Harbhajan was too much on-off with his performance. Played a pivotal part in one of India's greatest series, that his legacy

Indians had no business of getting all out for 145 in first innings.

Yep and you would have seen an elongated match had India batted first.

I agree Bhajji also had knack of developing injuries when pitches did not suit him.

I have always maintained that. People also forget how pivotal doosra (impossible without chucking) was for Bhajji's success.

I don't rate Kumble that high, I rate Ashwin higher than Kumble to be honest. Kumble for legspinner was very ineffective away against teams  who were historically bad against spin like England.

Man Root looks so ordinary against RHB. Just 2 overs of farming strike would have changed the complexion of the game

Even if the pitch spins a lot i don't get how so many are playing down the wrong line. I'd think you should be able to read that from the hand. Even pujara got out like that whose judgement is usually impeccable in this regard.

On a normal pitch, the pitch allows time for you to adjust to inward movement. On this pitch pink ball is skidding in and beating batsmen by pace
