Nadeem was absolutely useless in first test. Axar is far better than him. Too many loose balls by Nadeem in the Chennai test. And got swept a lot. Hopefully, Axar can at least control the flow of runs if track has less turn. Should also be more difficult to sweep. express bowling 1

Given our propensity to loss toss in key games and choke in knockouts, it would be a repeat of Test #1 You know there are a million kind of pitches between patta and rank turners? There was not a single patta in last 5 years in India but suddenly people are pretending our only option are a patta or rank turners? New guy Posted February 27, 2021 Posted February 27, 2021 Bumrah has now asked to be released. Such pitches are an insult to our fast bowlers. But no, let's demotivate and destroy our pace bowlers and go back to the 90s era express bowling, f20143g70, Jimmy Cliff and 1 other 1 3

Paid for it. naah, the pitch was bit too flat on D1 and D2, and Root played well. Nadeem disappointed bigtime, and then our first innings batting was a bit complacent and unlucky(Pujara). I'm not going to make silly assumptions about the professionalism of the team, especially with zero evidence.

I feel like they underestimated england though in the first test. england, dont get me wrong, is a very good team. just not good enough to beat india away or in any condition apart from seaming green wickets of england. Even there they would need luck in terms of tosses.

This is keeping in mind (a) life in the bio-secure bubbles during the Covid-19 pandemic, and (b) the packed schedule for the rest of the year, starting with the white-ball segment of the England series, the IPL, a possible World Test Championship final in June, followed by five Tests in England from July, and then the T20 World Cup in October-November. its nothing to do with family or private matters GoldenSun and express bowling 2

rtmohanlal Posted February 27, 2021 Posted February 27, 2021 yes... definitely it can happen because our middle order is Pujara , Kohli & Rahane ...for too long they have been riding on the all round brilliance of 'Ashwin Jadeja combo' and also on the nothing to loose attitude of rookies Pant,Gill,Karun Nair ,Vihari ,Mayank ,Shaw etc etc... Now with Jadeja not playing and Ashwin generally not at his prime as a batsman it can be repeat of the 1st test unless rookies Pant & Gill rises to the occasion ...
SK_IH Posted February 27, 2021 Posted February 27, 2021 It's reaching disgusting levels now. First, people were dissatisfied with the victory and now telling us the "fast" bowlers are feeling let down. BC hadh hai. These are professional cricketers, they don't have mood swings based on pitches. People will abuse the team if they lose, they will abuse the pitch if their fantasies of a utopian victory are not satisfied. nevada and kirkutfan 2
zen Posted February 27, 2021 Posted February 27, 2021 (edited) Eng would be going for a win (would not care for a loss) ... so if the pitch remains relatively good for batting and Eng is batting 4th, it can push for a win (likes of Stokes could be due for a memorable knock under pressure) ... on the other hand, if Ind is batting 4th, it could be under pressure w/ WTC place on the cards, preferring to first draw the game (early wkts could open up opportunities to put pressure on the lower MO). For Ind to seal a spot, it should look to bat big in its first inning Edited February 27, 2021 by zen

We need to replace rahane, puji for indian conditions. They are fine for sensitive but not for home anymore. Will it happen? Ofocurse not. Guarantee you if we had some domestic class batsman plus Mayank or even Shaw in middle order we can post 600.
