Younger people down the line will remember DK for only one thing

Denying sachu 100 and scoring the winning runs. Absolutely Classic and GOLD :aha:

I remember DK for only one thing alone... the whole saga involving Murali Vijay and his wife

Robin Singh is a respected cricketer and a well known coach as well. He is not a one hit wonder. He had quite a few clutch performances to his name.

I didn't in any way insinuate that Robin is a one hit wonder. Robin's memory at the top of many minds is that Paarl effort.

In that sense, DK who has been mentioned on several occasions, will be known for Nidhas trophy, but is far from a one hit wonder. His role in victories in our first ever T20 & the 2007 test series in England come to mind.

While chasing as well! With his quick single and convert one to twos strategy, that day he made his batting partner Ganguly run more than he usually would in 2 matches combined! That was one of our best chases in a final.

We remember him for a few other things too. A double century against the Aussies. A match saving 100 in NZ in a series victory there.  Even some of his on field altercations are memorable like sledging the living hell out of Afridi, Akmal and Nel.

His double century against Australia in 2008 series. We won a series against Australia after 7 years.
