If the senior batsmen had done a better job we could have torn England's soul out for not picking an extra bowler and underbowling an underperforming Spinner. I'm hoping these 2 and what's left of the tail can continue grinding england down tomorrow morning.

I cannot stand motormouth Bhogle...I find it very difficult to enjoy test cricket when this guy blabbers off nonstop... I’d to lower the volume but then I miss out the crowd noise and stump chat. 
 

Somebody should fix a pin on his chair and prick him the moment he continues more than required.

With Kohli at helm there is always gloom and sorrow

No matter how much i hate Dhoni for prolonging his stay in international cricket but he was way better than infact no comparison to Clown who used to back guys like Ashwin,Rohit,Dhawan,Jadeja look at those guys now they are world class players had he been 1 pc of clown we would have never witnessed such great guys play for us

11 more runs tomorrow without losing a wicket. 100 runs lead. Then every run scored after that is worth 2 runs. A lead of 125 is like 250 in normal conditions. Pant could hit out because bowlers were tiring. India has 5 fresh bowlers.. 3 good spinners. Day 3 post lunch wicket will break.

That's the difference between a brave and timid approach.Eng was all over India in the morning.Lots of chirping,men around the bat,wickets tumbling.Pant and Sundar counter punched them to submission

It shows that those 500-600 runs we used to make are possible.Only that the middle three batsmen are become geriatrics now.

Wicket has eased out. There’s a reason why Indian top/middle order failed and lower order batsmen scoring more runs than them.

So need Atleast 150 runs lead.

Nope. Pant and Sundar handled the tough conditions brilliantly - Pant's counterpunch and Sundar's calm temperament.

 

And then Eng ran out of gas. Leach is still turning it miles, Anderson and Stokes were spent by the tea, Bees was bowling crap so Root had to bowl lots of overs. If Eng had got Moeen or even Stone, they would not have struggled as much.

should get 125 . 150 might be a stretch. Dont think England will score more than 220 giving us a 95 run chase. Wicket hasnt eased out. Last 3 overs proved that. Ball spinning a lot. The bowlers are damm tired. Just imagine yourself standing under 38 degrees hot sun for 20 mins. Now think 6 hours under hot sun concentrating and bowling full tilt for these English bowlers.. kudos to them at least they could make a match of it till tea.

Pujara and Rahane would get out if they had played in the last session. May be Kohli would have feasted on.

It wasn't bad to start with. Batsmen went into their shell in the morning. The ball is spinning but not that extreme. There is good bounce for the bowlers. Hopefully tomorrow there will be something more when India bowl. 

The bowlers are tired. 
 

The pitch was never bad to bat on, but it is offering something to seamers and spinners. The problem for England is that for the 70th to the 80th over or so, the old ball negated any benefits the pitch provided. But by the time they took the new ball their bowlers were exhausted. 
 

That’s the problem with taking only 4 bowlers in the team.
