sage
Apologise to him. Would have probably seen this scoreline quite often in the tests as well without him speedheat, Rasgulla, Swag and 3 others 2 2 2 Link to comment
SK_IH
There is a serious question here. Why was he rested? He wad obviously the only in form batsman along with Pant. You want to start the series with your best. Why didn't Kohli rest ? No questions are answered in Indian cricket these days. You cannot rest Rohit to waste games on proven failure like Dhawan. sorak, Cricspin, Swag and 1 other 4 Link to comment

Bigg Brother
Agree. Rohit would have loved this much pace, foolish to rest him when he is going through purple patch, I wonder who decides when to rest someone or not, And I guess player of Rohit's stature can ask not to rest him when he wants to play. Arent they resting since the test series was concluded. Last 2 matches lasted 5 days collectively. Isnt it better to play than rest someone? Rubbish logic. Ironically nobody even asked Kohli about that after the match. Link to comment

Last 1-2 yr it was working well since one of dhawan n rohit kept getting injured n other getting a chance. But now when both are fit rest is used. They want one of rahul n dhawan to fail so they can drop the one , more likely rahul coz dhawan has failed enough yet he keeps making it in squad. Kohli cant take hard calls unless disaster strikes. Left right theory + safe mindset = kohli confusion. This is such a dangerous ploy coz if rahul gets out cheaply in 2 games which can happen to anyone and dhawan scored better all of rahul record will be forgotten SK_IH 1 Link to comment

Selective Statsguru filters are back after months of preaching about the context, conditions etc. Why 20 as the benchmark and not 25 or 30? Well that's what selective filtering is all about. Those 5 WC 100s are like the worse nightmares. Wish Statsguru could help measure the agony and pain as well! Pratik77 and sage 2 Link to comment
