zen
If in the 11, I would want him to give “quick” starts that helps the team more often than play for a rare 200 that mag benefit the team in 1 game out of multiple games including getting negatively impacted in those where Rohit gets out after a slowish start Rasgulla and Laaloo 1 1 Link to comment

Nikola
Doubt it now. He would still score couple of 150+ scores though. Link to comment
sorak
I feel he has one more in him. May be two, if he really focuses on it. But I want him to score a 200 in a run chase. Bonus points, if it is a difficult chase. Something to forget the Viv's 189. Link to comment
nevada
He sure can. He is still the only batsman in our line up who can do serious damage in the closing stages of the innings. raki05 1 Link to comment

And yet somebody glorify Lara 400 or 500 everywhere which cost WI match they could have won if Lara dint chase for the glory selfishly. Atleast rohit 200 always leads us to victory. raki05
200 shows greatness of rohit....people hyped up viv even his 189 against was hapless Lankan. Rohit has scored 3 had it been done by some gora lot of gora suckers would have annointed them goat. Rohit also have 5 centuries in a single wc which none of the greats have ever achieved some doesn't even have 5 together. Rohit is GOAT I'm odi he doesn't have to proof anyone anything. nevada, sorak, Laaloo and 1 other 1 3 Link to comment
neel roy
I dont care about 200 as it ll still be 100. Rather score 10 more 100s which will hopefully win 10 games for us. And we seemed to have stopped lanka fascination.. so chances are low.. Link to comment

Or batsmen should not score 200 My point is that in LOIs a) would prefer quicker starts v playing slowing to try to get the milestone, which can cost Ind in more games b) not against minnows where a long inning could deprive youngsters an opportunity to gain additional game practice c) appreciated in an imp game If you look at the world cup, Rohit was dropped many times and went on to score 5 100s, resulting in a relatively undercooked MO. In the knockout game, Ind was 5/3 Laaloo and Rasgulla 1 1 Link to comment

In the knockout game, Ind was 5/3 I agree but again we cant just for the sake of it go hard at the beginning and lose a match in a tournament just to give middle order a run.. its all about maximising the chances of win.. we lost the sf because we batted on an absolutely green pitch which would never have been given to us under normal circumstances as icc rules state fair game between ball and bat.. just because of the washout the pitch was under covers n qith moisture it became deadly.. to survive on those pitches against new ball we needed luck patience and maybe Pujara.. instead we had Kohli given lbw umpires call and dk being caught brilliantly.. still we had a chance but pandya pant both unfortunately couldn’t capitalise on their start. And guptill from that angle hit stumps one in a million.. Link to comment
