In our apartment complex, at-least a dozen cases have been of those who were vaccinated. Not sure if first or second shot. Many residents don't even delcare that they are infected and that's a whole different story. My next door neighbor got vaccinated and then caught the virus. I know of 4 fatalities of vaccinated people - 2 after both shots, and 2 after one. Correlation != causation, just laying out the facts that I know. Despite vaccine, keeping a safe distance, masking, self quarantine with relaxation only for essential work seems like a necessity for the foreseeable future. There are still people taking it easy, flouting safety norms and attending weddings in the 100s.

Covaxin can be made but they don't have labs to process a live corona virus. It's not so easy. diga 1
