Whenever they have been in playoffs, they have choked though. The superstars in their team need to avoid choking in knockouts. That's been their problem whenever they have made playoffs. Adamant Posted April 18, 2021 Share Posted April 18, 2021 RCB used to win matches even in the previous editions but they were more luck and individual brilliance based victories, this time it looks like they have actually found the balance that they were looking for and the pitches have played an important role in this. Buying Jamieson was a great move, the extra bounce which he gets is always tough to negotiate especially in Indian conditions. Harshal Patel took everyone by surprise and Siraj is now a way better white ball bowler than what he used to be, looks like success in tests has really helped. If Virat Kohli works out a way to play spinners like he used to(as of now he is probably the worst batsman against spin on this planet) , this team can give Mumbai Indians a run for their money Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Top 4 make it through. How else would you categorize rank 4 on 8, if not average? Being average is good enough to qualify for the eliminators and RCB are just about average. RCB has 3 wins already so only needs 5 in remaining 11 games, therefore a favourite to make it to the playoffs Though the point of making it to the playoffs is to play the final to have a theoretical 50% chance of winning the tournament. If you do not make it to the final, the rest it only for records keeping.
