They will most likely shave off some of that grass. Plus with so much rain around, may not be dry at all. 

 

Thakur should have been in the 15 in place of Umesh to at least he in consideration it remains a green damp pitch

Some of that Grass will be shaved off most likely.  Doesn't look like a typical soft pitch so maybe it will help our batsmen. 

With rain around spinners may not come into play that much.

If it was they would have done it already. Don't see any change a few hours before the game. Also rain won't allow them to mow it.

The grass is usually shaved one day prior anyway

 

Whenever the weather clears,grass can be shaved off if itsnt already
