One needs to put into perspective the quality of bowlers faced.

Sachin faced literally living legends of Test match cricket. Think about it for a second, some of the greatest bowlers of Test cricket, Sachin has faced them. Absolutely no doubt about that.

 

Im not so sure Kohli can make that claim. Its sad really, because I wish and wanted Kohli to go past SRT, but ever since his relationship or his aging (which ever you claim is the reason) he has regressed. He was a super star  when he was younger and IMO was going to rise well above SRT.

Absolute garbage. The quality of bowlers that Tendulkar faced is far superior to the quality that Kohli has faced.

 

With that said, India's bowlers today are far better than the 90s and 00s.

Yes Sachin would have scored 300 runs with blind fold  and one hand against this pedestrian attack (best in nz history) in damp,overcast condition .could you elaborate me what was the performance of Sachin in our famous SENA victories during 2000-2011 period ,i can count some of his failures .in our famous Adelaide victory he was utter failure , in our famous Perth victory he failed ,in Johannesburg 2006 victory he failed ,tell me his supper cluch performance in any SENA victory where he was highest scorer.I can give you some of Ftb Kohli performance ,Johannesburg victory he was highest scorer,in Trent bridge scored 200 runs in a match,in Melbourne 2018 match he was second highest scorer 82 runs after Pujara .

Quality is better now. Drs rules changed the outlook of how fast bowlers are perceived. Bowling is much superior now in every facet of the game. 

 

Much superior athletes who play across 3 formats. 

 

Most teams had one or 2 good individual bowlers. Most top teams have a good pool of fast bowlers to choose from these days. 

 

I dont see any of the fab 4 surviving vs current Indian or Australia attack on bouncy tracks. Neither will they survive vs new zeland on swing friendly tracks. Remember 99 all outs vs Shane bond led n.z. 

 

They only had bond and rest were fodders. Yet they destroyed us in n.z with sacchu in his absolute prime.

One thing goes in Sachin's favour though. He played near peak steam well in s.africa. I don't see sachhu lasting vs indian bowling attack in helpful wickets however. Neither do I see him surviving vs aussie attack in Australia or kiwi attack in n.z 

 

Kohli peak perhaps could but current kohli? Nhaa.

How sachin was flop in perth test. He scored 77 something in first innings ( dravid 93).sachin was excellent in that series.he also scored 193 in Leeds 2002 victory.Century in Port of Spain 2002 victory .

I said SENA countries but Leeds innings was indeed good but if I remembered  Dravid was man of the match and Dravid ,Ganguly,Sachin  all have  scored centuries in that match.

Sachin was more consistent. He had a much longer prime. But peak vs peak kphli is better. Does anyone get me?
