Is Australia 2021 overrated?

They keep getting trashed by even SA and WI in bilateral games these day. Sure they won a odi series vs India but apart from that they have been sucking for a while since Warner and Smith ban. 
 

Yes I know they won the odi yesterday but I think we keep overrating Australia.

 

Their bench is crap

 

I would be wary of even WI and Pakistan over Australia in WT20

Australia is $hit in T20.

 

They are still fascinated by Warner/Finch/Smith as their top 3 when all of them are over the hill in this format.

 

Maxwell and Stonis are also hit and miss.

 

Starc, Hazelwood and Cummins are class but they had more bad days in T20s than in test or ODI.

Warner is already on decline and starc form has been inconsistent

They have been on downfall since 2015. They do only well cause of steve smith brilliance at times in test series. Odis & T20s they are not in top 3.

You mean our 2021 series win 6 months back?

 

That win will forever remain among the top 3 achievements of our cricket history after 1983 and 2011 WCs. The Aus team had world's no. 1 and no. 3 test batsman &  no. 1, 4 and 7 bowlers. We beat them with a bunch of rookies. Among the biggest upset in sports.

UAE helped seamers also last time in UAE , remeber the same boult who struggled in IPL previously became so good in IPL

If anyone think thye lack spinner- Last time santner n sodhi screwed us in India 

They have new batsman like philip, seifert, conway

 

Most importantly they have mental edge in these kind of games against us, Kohli will choke n williamson standsup in these situation

True, but we would have a better bowling line up going into this match compared to last time. All boils down to if Kohli reads the pitch correctly. Our batting would be better this time as well. I mean last time we had a middle order consisting of players well past their peak.

In ODI they might be best side right now or 2nd best...  They did beat England last year away.  Against India as well they looked great.  Even though they aren't the same force they once were..  But Always a threat.  

In Test cricket as well.

 

T20 is their weakest format & they are worse than Eng WI & India.  But they will easily beat sides like Pak NZ.

All depends whether we pick good spinners or not.  Chahal has been outbowled by Sodhi most of the times. 

Kiwis struggle against spin but India don't pick guys like Ashwin who can make these guys dance in UAE.  Rahul Chahar has to play as well.

Chahal,Kuldeep if played will be the weakest spin duo among others in wt20

We have to play wicket takers in middle overs as our pacers have struggled picking wickets upfront

I'll still put them as the team to beat in WC's Eng lucky win notwithstanding they had a massive setback in Smith/Warner being banned & that obviously affected them a lot in 2019. Outside of WC I'd say their aura has diminished majorly, especially with the Rahane lead team beating them at full strength down under
