2 more teams + main team = 3 teams as per Pandu. would like to see where that tailunt would come. here's a shot at it.

Team 1 (oldies + injured + semi-regulars): 1.Rohit (c), 2. Dhawan, 3. Kohli, 4. KLR (wk), 5. S. Iyer, 6. Jaddu, 7. Hardik, 8. Ashwin, 9. Boobi, 10. Bumrah, 11. Chahal

Team 2 (players who should be seriously in mix or batting/bowling in other positions): 1. Shaw, 2. Pant (c, wk), 3. Gill, 4. Gaekwad, 5. Sundar, 6. SKY, 7. Lord Thakur, 8. Axar, 9. Markande, 10. Prasidh, 11. Siraj

Team 3 (newbies + more fringe possibilities + discards): 1. Bharat/Kishan (wk), 2. Padikkal, 3. Jaiswal, 4. M. Pandey (c), 5. V. Iyer, 6. SRK, 7. Abhishek/Samad, 8. D. Chahar, 9. Raj Hangargekar, 10. Mavi//Y. Dayal, 11. Bishnoi

I would say that team 2 ought to win. Any thoughts: @SRT100? @express bowling? [this was just a tongue-in-cheek post to Pandu's comment about fielding 3 teams]

Iam quite sure about a side having fringe players(comprising the ones who are in line or bench/first choice players from all limited over state sides )from domestic setup to give this senior side a sound hammering

that would be good. this senior squad should be made to play in a short tourney against some state teams so that we can have the pleasure of seeing them wallop the current squad.

Hardik was implying 4 teams with this quote because he was playing in the second team at the time

Yaar PP par gaaliyan pad rahi is bande ki vajah se.

Even Ricky Ponting wouldn't say something like this about his GOAT team.

PeePee has a field day, unka abhi din hai

Law of averages,it had to happen at some point

We have been winning consistently even in world tournaments barring KOs but we were still good, they were minnowsque(even not fairly strong today)

We are going through a phase which is called transition, hope it is smooth

For that to happen we as fans and TM needs to be large minded, tolerant

It won't happen overnight, constant chopping and changing will lead us nowhere

Yeah you are right.

Also they are winning ICC awards left right and center.

I mean apna worst aur unka best saath mai hi aa gaya, that's what making them delusional.

I Still believe this team has more than enough potential to beat each and every team in the world, kuch to galat hai is samay, but pata nahi kya.

I know this was a silly statement but a lot of Indian fans/ Indian cricket fraternity actually felt India could line up two teams in every format of the game until the sl series happended where some if not all of the youngsters were found wanting and it needed a chahar special with the bat to salvage a odi series victory, a few years back in a quadrangular series India B did come on top against aus A but none of those India B players have gone to settle in the Indian team bar Mayank, the same aus A team featured marnus, head, khawaja, Carey, nesser all onto Excell in international cricket.

This guy is now the captain of Ahmedabad Dhoklas.

Gujaratis are supposed to be good businessman, what have they done here.

Nobody gives a sh!t about winning in IPL franchise. If that was the case Kohli wouldn't be captain of RCB for so long and RCB wouldn't be so popular among fans. There are several RCB fans even if the team has done nothing. Popularity comes from exciting players playing for them. It's about brand value and popularity. Hardik pandya is a fairly popular cricketer and quiet a hit amongst IPL fans. So, Gujaratis have lived upto the stereotype of being shrewd businessman here by picking Hardik.
