he is a very entertaining batsman like Afridi. That type of xfactor.

Nahin....

Afridi had mad power...he stopped working hard on his batting which is why he declined so badly but still kind of innings he has played Axar cant neither he has that power of an afridi .

Axar batting is bang avg , will improve with time but nothing game changing or X factor .

Thakur's battings is more X factor then Axar

We give them too much respect.

Remember the WC SF? Ok their quicks blew open our top order, not a big surprise. But did you see how Pant and Pandya were playing Santner? I mean these 2 are our designated spin killers, Santner is decent that's all, but it was like 2 Rahanes batting on day 5 Chepauk against Murali...wtf was that?

both went to slogs eventually and are still bashed for that.

In knockouts such things play on mind I guess.Plus target was not big.

this is way more impressive than the Dube and Azam Khan knocks that you get impressed by :)

this was a domestic game in england i think 2nd tier

Dube ki A level pe innings hai Sa-A ke against where he blasted Nortje

I can show Jadeja in IPL hitting big sixes for kochi tuskers .....this doesnt make someone X factor

Terko ye X factor lag raha hai n u use to think Livingstone is hack n SKy is a journeyman at one point:facepalm:

X factor is - hardik, sky, pant, kishen, samad not jaddu , axar

if Axar had played instead of Chahal and Rayudu ahead of may be DK we would have won the semi final in 35 overs :((

No more goodie goodie with them. Need Kohli to go full MC BC and sledges when he plays with NZ.He is far too friendly with KW.Eng got rattled as Bumrah,Shami,KL,Siraj,Kohli everyone sledged them. I am pissed off seeing too much respect being given to their spinners and other bowlers.Want them to play in proper cricket match conditions and we can crush them.

mujhe malum tha ye chunnu se ground ki uthayegaa

agar isme X factor hota na to hardik pandya ka international debut hi nahin hota. Reason hardik debut despite having jaddu n axar was they both lacked X factor ...if they had it hardik wudnt have been fast tracked .

Jo tu mujhe inning dikha rha hai na, ask DC only if they consider him X factor and they ll tell u they naa X factor what teams like MI n KKR have

It will all go down to

How NZ does here later this year

If they put up a fight and draw it they will remain the best side if not and loose irrespective of the manner they lose ,they won't hold right to be called best side in the world

t20i- 131

IPL- 127

ye X factor player ke S/r nahin hote

that’s not too bad. Also you were arguing with me the same way about Thakur too, look at his importance now.

Don’t get fooled by axar’s personality and lack of hoo-haa that a lot of fans seem to focus on.

He will be the most in demand player very soon. He has matured and turned into a world beater. He is ready

thats bad for someone who bats at 7

I didnt question his batting, i always said he is a leak machine which i still say (in LOI his bowling needs to be used smartly or else it ll backfire)

I never look at that, i hve seen enough of his batting n bowling

Batting men potential hai but X factor to bahut dur ki baat hai.

India clearly. NZ's 3 wins came in conditions tailored to them. The 3 matches previous in Ind this same team was absolutely destroyed by Ashwin, Jadeja (and even Bhuvi in a match).

Their "neutral" win came in Eng which is as 'neutral' as SL or Bangladesh for us.

They can't even come close to winning a match in Aus or Ind. In fact they drew against a very poor SL team. Same team was whitewashed by us.

For 5 decades. We have won just 1 test there since 1970. Much better record in RSA, Aus, Eng despite them fielding far stronger sides for most of their history.

But this NZ team at home is too strong, and they don't have mental block against us (OTOH they lose their cojones against Aussies). Doubt our all time XI can beat this NZ in NZ.

They do not look that motivated against NZ.

Calling NZ the best test team in the world because they won WTC is like saying Pakistan were the best odi team in the world in 2017 because they won CT.

Except NZ is ranked number one (will stay there even if we beat Eng in next 3 tests), and a stellar run in tests for 4 years or so....exception being against Aus.

NZ were ranked 1 for a bit in January. And now post WTC final. They will come to India and lose and we will be no 1 again.

They also drew in SL, which is a very very weak team. Also lost a home series against SA.

They don't even have a perfect home record.

Nzl basically trashed us in Nzl conditions and Nzl like  conditions.

They wouldn’t last 3 days against our spinners  had the WTC held in UAE or Bangladesh as neutral venue. They were prodding and poking against Ashwin in overcast English conditions.

we are overrating them. The difference is we are punching way below are weight and Nzl while always punches above their weight, this time have very good team, best in their history so they maximize their potential. That’s the difference.

Nope we are not overeating them. They won the WTC final at a neutral venue fair and square and are the deserving test champions.

that neutral venue for nz was as neutral as sri lanka or bangladesh would be neutral for us.

are they the deserving test champions - yes

are they the best team in the world - no

I agree it's a great team but best? I don't think so. They reached finals after getting the easiest schedule possible and won zero away series in the last cycle.

England deserved to play in the final ahead of them but the stupid points system and scheduling denied them that.
