As always Aussies show balls and punch above their weight as a nation of less than 30 million people.

Wish we did the same. Totally and absolutely de-legitimize the rogue barbaric subhuman Taliban.

This was women test, so, they had to cancel it if Afghanistan wouldn't send their team. What's about having balls in this?

I think its against ICC rules too. Might be the end of afghanistan as a cricket nation

The remaining players will have to get their paydays from T20 leagues around the world.

Umm no it is not. How do you say such blatantly false things with such confidence?

I had read something like this in the morning. May have misread it.

IMO Afg shouldn't be allowed to play the men's T20 WC as well. Similar to apartheid situation, govt can't treat women like this in 21st century, filthy barbaric scum this Taliban.

As long as they have this policy, no sporting contact with that country, whether it be cricket or Fifa or Olympics. Even Saudi and Iran allow women's participation in sports these days, of course with dress regulations but they don't prohibit them any more. Pakistan have women's cricket team, women athletes, despite being one of the most conservative countries on the planet.

Hate Taliban, evil in its purest form.

 This is the problem when you have to oppose just for the sake of it.

Afghanistan doesn't even have an women's team.

Oh. So Afghanistan doesn't have woman team. Were women active in sports in Afghanistan before Taliban?

Arey that was a misunderstanding on my part. I misread woman test somewhere because they have been awarded test status.

Pakistan establishment supports Taliban.

Will be interesting to see how the cricketing world will react to that.
