I think they admire each other a lot, Srinivasan is on bad terms with his son Ashwin and you can easily see he is trying to fill a void here.

The one decision to buy Dhoni in 2008 changed everything for CSK.

 

Dhoni is a total gun but CSK's management is terribly under-rated.

 

I am told they have experience running teams and they really know what they are doing which in a way, helps Dhoni's aura.

 

I still can't believe they went with old pensioner club in 2018 (far cry from CSK's star studded lineup in the past) and owned most fans (including me) with their results.

Either they are geniuses or the other IPL teams are dakkans of the highest order who just don't know how to make use of their resources.

Dhoni is deserving of all of the praise, he has put in the effort.

There is something special about Dhoni in that only he can get the best out of duds like Utthappa, Chahar, Lungi, and Bravo and win.

yup players have come out n said owners dnt interfere at all, fleming n dhoni are the boss of cricketing matters which is how it shud be

I think for them things work in this order

 

• have a secure n happy environment, players know their roles ........great communication (all the ex player say good things about them which isnt the case with every franchise) 
•  This makes every player give their best
• Dhoni-fleming use them at position n situation which makes them even better. After it all its a game of conditions and every players has their strength n weakness 

So keeping player in a headspace where they can give their best and then using them to their best position is how they are making decent players into champions ones.  Indeed a process 

Compare RCB,, they fail at 1st step which has been the reason that high quality players have struggled in their franchise. Only players to have done well are the ones who are secure bout their spot and know their roles- Chahal, ABDV, Maxi, Gayle

its just not dhoni its also their owners, we all saw how it didnt work with goenka in pune franchise. Its a machinery and every part has to work in order from owners to players

Well it is like film starts right. If people are paying to watch your movies you get paid massively. Kinda like Rajni and Salman. 

As long as he mints money, he should get a cut of that.

But bcci shown lot of trust on Dhoni captaincy how it is different than ipl owner trusting them and why we don't deserve after being so much invested in our cricket , wc team and moreover captain dhoni whom everyone is praising like lord. It's about trust bcci shown more trust in dhoni than even srinivasan. So this logic of trust doesn't make sense at all.

coz only 1-2 factors will never win u cup ...its takes a combination of several to win
