I am not happy about this ashwin comment to be honest. Really unexpected. Ash is a great player but this comment is doing a disservice to our team's mentality.

Absolutely. We don't deserve ****. If Afghans beat Kiwis full credit to them but the way we played vs pakiatan and Kiwis, we don't deserve to progress at all.

There is no harm in hoping that the Afghans will try and beat NZ.

The day game helps their cause, a few crucial Umpires calls going their way, a miscue here, a run out there, marginal errors etc can all stack up even against good teams.
While we hope for this, we need to also brace for the worst case scenario as well!

Cricket is an unpredictable sport especially the T20 we all know that. 

Lets hope we get the result we are looking for!

Usually NZ is the most ruthless team against the Minnows after SL so a win against them is very difficult but still all the best to Afghans. If they win,  it will be a memorable victory that will be cherished for years to come.

Yes we do have a very good chance vs englang as long we pick the right team. We beat them in England in t20 and in India. In bilaterals yes but we don't have mental block vs them. We only suck vs Kiwis for some strange reason. 

 

However, with kohli at helm we won't get through to semis anyway. So doesn't matter.
