Rizwan is a good player but not a t20 specialist. Anyway hatsoff to his spirit, jazba, junoon.....

If it was that bad, why couldn’t they replace him. He did score but he also slowed down the momentum. Nothing heroic about a half fit player playing ahead of a fitter player just on reputation. If a guy in the icu is better than the reserve what message does that give?

the PCB management didnt leak the pic, but someone from staff after the match.

Doesn't look like a Flu Patient to me, I have seen many flu patients, but none have ever gone to ICU for Flu. I like Rizwan, he's a good bloke with a fighting spirit, but I don't really understand this pic.

So, what was his health issue? This looks like someone who was somewhat critical. How can flu lead to this?

Can the OP go into some details or is it all about Jazba, Josh, Junoon crap?

Maybe this picture is fixed (fake) just like their belief system about cricket matches.

If Rizwan had gotten out for a zero or played badly, Pakistan would be coming for his life and would have put him back into the ICU...

If you aren't well or been in the hospital,  you should be sitting out and have that confidence in your 12th man to come and do a better job than you.  If an Indian cricketer did that, I'd be pretty disappointed tbh.

Had he failed, Pakistani TV would have had week long debates on how he was played.

T20 World Cup: Indian doctor who treated Pakistan batsman Rizwan says his comeback was a miracle

Quote

The Indian doctor, who treated Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan in the ICU, is astonished at the quick recovery made by the seriously ailing but gritty wicketkeeper-batsman, to be match-fit for the ICC T20 World Cup semis against Australia.

Agree, if he was that sick, he should have been replaced by Sarfraz .
