thats a disasterous bowling lineup.both Shami and Siraj dont take PP wickets in ODIs.we really need Bumrah.

The main problem with Dravid  in his tenure as a coach. He has not laid down his vision and brand of cricket he wants his teams to play in all the three formats .

 

He has not shown any coaching where he has improved performances of his struggling batsmen.

 

He says he wants players to express themselves but players are becoming timid and afraid to fail.For some reason he hates fast bowlers .

Despite the loss i woudl take Baz as a coach over inept Rahul Dravid. Even it is a crazy methodology there is a methodology and goal is there unlike with Dravid whose coaching is all about taking things as it comes.

Rahul has been the worst coach to coach India in terms of results.

In my opinion Rahul Dravid had no roadmap or the vision for the team,  he focused on solving the internal issue with the team-Rohit & kolhi's rift , players not getting enough chances, players not being treated properly.

As the  results the focus has not been on cricket but all the arbitrary things.

 

Rohit sharma wants to consolidate his place as captain who looks like already past his prime also heard they wanted KL to captain t20i side.

 

They have to get Dhoni to the TM mix not sure for what role and then Selectors asking Dhoni for players inclusion. This is all chaos. They clearly do not know what thet want for the team

Bumrah will be fit. Umran is also another choice alongwith Arshdeep.

But good planning calls for preparing adequate backups for even fit players, let alone someone who is missing for a year and coming back.

 

And no one is sure how his form will be even if he is fit.

that won't happen even with 1st round exit. instead, what will happen is that more eggsperience will be brought in to the team (to supposedly "fix" it), and Dravidiot will consolidate his power until he gets to play his favorite LOI@srt10 XI:

From what I am hearing bumrah is fully healed and is bowling with full intensity. 

 

Just worried if he gets injured again.....then we are screwed.

We'll mostly play 2 pacers + Pandya. So Bumrah,Siraj,Shami,Umran are enough options.

If they want to play 3 spinners - and it's a valid strat - then go for Kuldeep and both of Axar and Jaddu. Batting depth is not compromised and all three are competent spinners. No need to overthink about playing two SLAs. If teams can regularly play 3 right hand quicks then they can play 2 SLAs.

can even have Sundar/Ash/Bishnoi for variety. All better options than Chunky Chawal.
