This was not even a raging turner. Much better pitch than what England had to play. I still think Usman will play a big role besides Labu and Smith. Yes & we missed Jadeja against Eng big time, he has a similar record against those FTB's - like I said in the other thread has Jadeja or maybe even Axar played that first test we could've drawn/won it easily! Nadeem bowled horrendously & Brat failed as usual. Link to comment

What happens in the middle cannot ever be simulated in any practice game especially the heat & mental pressure! Stokes goes missing with bat also quite often. Link to comment

Way over rated for "Ashes" heroics, except for (minnows) SA & Oz in Eng his test record is substantially worse! He's a better LO player though. Lord 1 Link to comment

zen
A good player but overrated based on his bowling performances in "tailored conditions" ... And which Wisden team is going to play in such conditions! Might as well pick Herath (if he were playing) too. Edited February 17, 2023 by zen Link to comment

cricspirit
Faster to 2500 Runs/ 250 Wickets than Kapil , Top league MOM performances in lesser tests .. and Yet there are those who still lack the appreciation of him. At this point he can be easily put into an Indian Great category . Even SANJU MANJU stopped his bits and pieces comments. Link to comment
