It's just incredible how obvious it is that Shaheen is chucking it, cleverly put on full sleeves as his team is behind, what other parameters are considered before umpires report a bowler for a suspect action? Look below see the jerk in his action before he straightens during delivery.

Pakistan should have prepared rank turners. See the thing is it might backfire in one test but the Australians couldnt survive  6 innings .. the pakistan players would definitely play spin better than all except labu and smith.. khawaja maybe. But rest head , carey, green would have folded.. along with the tail. Even in this match they were 206/5. Do u think aus wd hv scored 185 extra runs if pitch was turning square..

They don't have any bowlers fast or spin who are quality.Afridi or the new kid are nothing special.

Green Starc Cummins Agar (likely) Cummins Lyon.  It's a gun tail as well. 

Green may do well just because the way he bats,Starc, Cummins ,Agar all on these surfaces against Ashwin,Jaddu,Axar is a different proposition altogether

Lower order batting depends on conditions as well,being Aussies they will surely put up fight and will give it all to avenge home series loss against arch enemy India

Nope on rank turners you are giving australia advantage too. Australia would have picked ashton agar and he would have ran through pakistan on turner with his style of bowling. Even lyon who looks past his prime would have done well on those pitches.

See its game theory. You either play for a draw which is zero sum game and u prepare flat pitch. But if you want to win you take risks in the direction where the probability of you is slightly better than your opponent. So you have two choices turner or fast pitch. If you get a fast bowling pitch you have to play against cummins starc hazlewood green. If its turner you play against swepson agar and lyon. So thats the choice..india exactly did that against england at home after losing first test. They knew in rank turners its better to face leach root and bess than to face archer anderson broad on a seamer. Sometimes it may backfire when there is an outlier like cook, pietersen ( 2012) and smith (2017) but on an average you win more than you lose.

Its good but Still not better than bumrah shami ishant siraj together taking 10 wickets for just 81 runs in 45 overs in Lords 2021 on a flat pitch..

Let hope Australians are not too defensive tomorrow. They have a golden opportunity to register a series victory in Asia/Pakistan. Should not be batting for more than 2 sessions and accumulate around 230-240 runs to stretch the target as close as possible to 400. 

 

Go hard at the Pakistanis for the final 4 sessions . Pakistan will only be playing for a draw and content t

not to lose the series so more  number of overs the Australian bowlers have , the better it will be.

Well Australia did win two tosses...  So they probably have won that way as well.  In reality Pakistan had no chance against Australia.  Aussie side is far more Talented on paper. 

Noman Chacha & Sajid Khan are beyond mediocre pie chuckers.  Jayant Yadav walks into this Pakistani team.
