Not in a ten team IPL. 6 wins can mean 7th, or if you have a good run rate, 6th.

There are 10 teams. Every teams plays every other team twice ( Home & Away). That's 18 games.

Only 14 ganes, not 18. All teams aren't playing each other twice. There are two groups of 5 teams. Teams in one group play each other twice, others once.

Its high time for MI to get Pollard out of his misery by dropping him. MI aren't doing any favors to Pollard by picking him. A struggling player needs to take his mind away from the game for a while and then try to make a comeback. MI management us just dragging their feet in conveying the news to Pollard.
