You have an allrounder and a left armer who can also hit the ball a long way. Seems like a good athlete like his dad. If he doesn’t get a chance now than it is unfair if he keeps getting picked. throw him in the deep-end. He is a Tendulkar. He will figure it out :) Play Arjun right now so he is a Tendulkar we should give him that.. that’s worth a few mts of pondering by mi think tank, he can’t be worse off as this season is going. Lulz man Csk and MI have been sucking this season so much.
Mariyam
IDK why people are calling Arjun Tendulkar a product of nepotism? That's wrong. Abhimanyu learned how to break the chakravyuh (dragnet) when still in his mother's stomach. Is that nepotism?? Arjun learned a lot of his cricketing skills by osmosis while growing up. I don't see the difference.
asterix
He might come in the nice MI wins a match. He won’t be risked when MI losing all matches… Badically he’ll be part of the winning combination and not a losing one… Edited April 16, 2022 by asterix

I expect the more reasonable posters here consider it nepotism not because of his name/family but because he has not really shown enough potential at domestic level to warrant selection - this is just my hypothesis, to be clear. He is in MI just because he is Tendulkar. Vijy and beetle

nevada
IPL 2022: Arjun Tendulkar Is All Set To Make His Mumbai Indians Debut Arjun Tendulkar, son of the legendary batsman and former MI skipper Sachin Tendulkar, has been part of the franchise first as a net bowler in 2020 and then as a player since last year. The seam-bowling all-rounder could finally get to make his IPL debut, vs CSK on Thursday. Arjun Tendulkar is tall and can generate swing with the new ball; knowing CSK batters’ weakness against the moving ball, especially for Ruturaj Gaikwad who has just returned to form, MI can hand Arjun the new ball. The junior Tendulkar may replace the experienced Tymal Mills who has been expensive and wicketless in the last couple of matches.
