Clarke Posted July 11, 2022 Posted July 11, 2022 (edited) Hain, a Bhuvi appreciation thread on ICF ? Must be a cold day in hell. The phassht brigade here would rather see 90+ mph even if it goes for 12 RPO. If you ask them who deserves academy award for best actress, it would be a close race between Leone & Khalifa. That is how much they have an eye for skillset. That's probably the only area I would agree with woketards on how some of us are heading the Pakistan way. Austin 3:!6 Posted August 10, 2022 Posted August 10, 2022 Will Dubai offer swing for Bhuvi to exploit? If yes, his new ball will be handy

If yes, his new ball will be handy If we go by the last T20 WC record, the team bowling first got some early movement in almost every game and troubled the batsmen. Pitch got better to bat, as the game progressed. Bhuvi would get swing ,if we bowl 1st, I think.
Ankit_sharma03 Posted August 12, 2022 Author Posted August 12, 2022 Another great stat i found on bhuvi, every season even the worst one his eco was always under 8 ....................remarkable Thats why his team back him even when he is not at his best beetle, Lord and Clarke 2 1

If yes, his new ball will be handy you think he wud have been doing so well in t20 if he was just a one trick pony On contrary its someone like Prasidh who needs some movement or zip from pitch and a new ball to do well On contrary is Umran who is just one phase bowler , bhuvi is an all phase all condition bowler Edited August 29, 2022 by Ankit_sharma03 cricspirit and beetle 2
Nikhil_cric Posted August 29, 2022 Posted August 29, 2022 Brilliant bowler. Not the most gifted in terms of height or consistently high pace( he has clocked Upto 146 kph in the past) but he hits a line and length, swings the new ball and has enough variations beetle and Lord 1 1

putrevus Posted August 29, 2022 Posted August 29, 2022 Bhuvi to me is not a match winner in shorter formats. He rarely takes wickets upfront .Containing good teams never works.Averages don't tell accurate story in shorter formats. He has played enough in big matches along with Bumrah, both have them always always come short. express bowling 1
Vijy Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 (edited) I think having one trundler is acceptable, and Bobbie has indeed done well in T20 format barring some matches. however, I don't think he should play ODIs regularly Edited September 4, 2022 by Vijy express bowling and Lord 1 1
Clarke Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 This is why he's a support level bowler and not a spearhead despite so much experience. He depends on slower & wide ones too much and ends up giving boundaries at key moments in the death. Not the match ka mujrim but definitely had the opportunity to get us through. express bowling and Sgattick10 2
rkt.india Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 I am still can't digest what he bowled in the 19th over. He just had to nail his Yorkers which he he has been good at but he tried slower balls when he already is a slow paced bowler.
