SinNombre Posted July 10, 2022 Posted July 10, 2022 Can't think of any great options. And if the answer is SKY, who is batting at #4 then.
nevada Posted July 11, 2022 Posted July 11, 2022 Pant can continue to open and Rahul, if fit, could take the #3 spot instead of Kohli.
HamHindustani Posted July 11, 2022 Posted July 11, 2022 Kohli and Hooda should fit in 1 and 3. Either can open and other in 3

Adamant Posted July 11, 2022 Posted July 11, 2022 When you say no. 3, you've already answered it. There's only one no. 3 in India and that's the way its gonna be. sage 1

Looks very out of sorts against swing . NZ, Pak, even AUS , ENG can put up decent swing bowlers up front . Not sure India will get best of Pant at top . As of now he can be used to bash spinners . Also there is very little time left for giving him many games at the top.
zen Posted July 11, 2022 Posted July 11, 2022 While Ind has a few options and any one of them “could” be #3, based on current dynamics that benefit the team, Hooda “should” be

neel roy Posted July 11, 2022 Posted July 11, 2022 End of day you cannot drop Kohli for the t20 w cup in Oct. The last international t20 he played before this series was in Wcup where he was the highest scorer agaisnt Pakistan. So any thoughts or fantasies of him being dropped is unfounded unless he is injured. So he will stay as no 3 as much as people like it or hate it.. BacktoCricaddict 1

Jay Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 (edited) Should always be the player that chooses to play at number 3. King. I prefer this for t20 Rohit Dhawan Kohli Kela Pant Pandya Jadeja Old is gold. Past prime for the win. Edited July 12, 2022 by Jay
