If he does, your team will WIN certainly.  He won't score at SR of more than 100.  :winky:

The best thing that can happen for India to win is if Kohli gets out either for a duck off the first ball or a duck without facing a ball.

Make no mistake he will "anchor" himself to the crease, take his time to get to 50 if he can make it that far which I highly doubt (unless drop catches), then the first shot to accelerate and he will get out.

The way our players are getting close to Pakistani fans for these hugs and selfies makes me a bit worried about their security.

Pakistan have a picked a side for Australia in mind, this side isnt suited for these conditions and matchups wont favour them. Interesting to see what 11 they settle for the T20 worldcup.

He always tries them in multiple practice videos bit it takes enormous skill & practice to pull them off in real time.

he has in past but u can count them on finger , now since his game is on decline vs spin he needs to develop these shots

he doesn't step out enough anymore either

Was watching his Hobart knock earlier and he was so fearless. Just not that nowadays

Case of slowing of reflexes...  Even Dhawan doesn't plays strokes straight now.  Kohli isn't  at that stage but close to it.  Dhawan has developed a good slog sweep to counter this...  Kohli too needs to find a way.  Rather than reverse a gun slog sweep is always a scoring option.   Sanga even past his prime used to chrun out runs with that stroke.

If India lose toss tomorrow and bats first, what should be the approach?

How much target should they aim considering its get easy to bat 2nd here

just dont give wkts against new ball , after that Pakistan inexperienced bowling doesnt have much to bother us . After that either we have to bat really crap or they have to bowl out of their skin

I dont think tomm it wud be easy in 2nd innings coz by then 60overs wud have been bowled on this pitch. The grass today will be baked tomm in the day in that heat

Strangely he also said in that interview that he was following the exact same attacking formula, that Indian team has adopted, in this year's IPL

With a PP strike rate of 100

if he still doesnt do it they shud drop him down the order

This yr even Kohli-Rohit s/r has shot up in PP

I expect him to attack from the word go, hit some classy boundaries till he can make it last

It will be effective even if a short one. I doubt he can take any other approach.

Our likely XI according to 'reports'

Rohit

Pant

Kohli

SKY

Pandya

DK

Jadeja

Ashwin

Bhuvi

Arshdeep

Chahal

Yes KL is unlikely to play tomorrow.

Good lineup if we go with this.

6 bowling options with 3 spinners,  all in the line up up to Bhuvi can bat as well.
