Hype around IPL stats needs to tone down a little.

Seeing Indian T20 team, i have come to the conclusion that a lot of the IPL stats need to be taken with a pinch of salt when selecting a side.
Hooda is a prime example. Compare him to some of the other finishers like Shanaka and Asif ali etc.
Need to put more thought around the selections than just going by stats.

There is no hype..Actually hyped Players aren't picked (Umran,Mohsin,Patidar etc..)Pakistanis should mind their business with Psl if they don't want to know about IPL..For example,I do know jack about PSL, even if your team has become no.1 owing to PSL,I couldn't care less and don't give a * about it...

If India keeps on giving this kind of performance in every tournament, IPLs brand value will decrease

India has been shyte in most of the wt20s barring 2007,2014..Has it affected anything?? NO.

2009,2010,2012 wt20s were more shambolic than this one..2021,too....

Stupid take. In IPL you play a specific role for a team. If you don't play the same role for another team you are likely to fail. Shane watson failed for RCB. But did well with CSK.  There are several examples. May be we shouldn't hype players based on UAE performances. That makes sense.

There are lots of players who played in ipl would have made a difference in the Asia cup.But sadly the team choose was of superstars, who have been chooses more for thefan following.

Venkatesh Iyer,Shaw,Samson,Mohsin,Sen,Tewatia would have made difference with their perfomance.

The selectors select some known players

Bhuvi.   Chahar

Jadeja.    Axar

Least they could have done is select new players against Zimbabwe and Ireland.

Now is the team to select young players for T20.and the let the seniors play the other 2 formats.

Naseem Shah made his debut in high profile game against India and Bhuviwas playing against Zimbabwe,Westindies and Ireland

Hooda is a top order batter, here playing at no 7.
Will it make sense if Babar, Rizwan or Fakhar bat at no 7...no, right ?

DK, Tewatia, Rinku Singh, Pandya were the finishers in IPL....Pandya already performed against Pakistan, Other 3 aren't a part of playing XI.

Hooda failed in just match. LOL!

Hooda is not cut out for international cricket.

Anyone who fails to understand that has no cricketing acumen.
