domestic numbers are always mixed due to variety of sides they play against

his List A eco of 5.39 which is all good but then he leaks runs their too as in ODI it shoot ups 6.87 , recently in county he had a horrid time also . So depends on many factors

In Indian domestic, they bat at snail's pace. Apart from two or three good sides. Economy over 5 means you are not a run saver, atleast.

There is something about Ruturaj. He looks organized, correct, unhurried whenever he scores runs. He just has to shed this inconsistency and soft dismissals. Too many soft dismissals. Once he gets over that he is going to be great for us. India should be patient with him.

he is indeed one of the best young players of genuine pace , havent seen much issue with spin either

Another ton for impressive Patidar.  Probably will pip Sarfaraz for Test tour of BD later in the year.  Exactly what he needed to do to separate himself from rest of the pack. 

Let's see how he performs in List A games now vs NZ.  Dark horse for SA ODI series.

This describes Rahane quite well actually whom he gets compared to. He never quite got the mental side of the game down pat despite not really having any glaring technical faults you can make out immediately.

Rahane had weakness against spin. Ruturaj is clearly better in that regard. Besides if we strictly talk about limited over format there is stark contrast between them despite appear to be similar. Rahane always starts aggressively inside power play and wimps out in the end. Ruturaj on the other hand starts slowly and explodes later. Ruturaj's IPL strike rate after 20 balls is 164.  This is more like Rohit.
