Simple strategy- bowl Axar less in this game and hardik more. Axar overs wud be cut down due to SA lefties

Pant for KL at the top of the order not to mention his glovework too. Even a cameo effort of 20 off 10 runs would be far superior to any contribution that KL makes.

I wouldnt be opposed to KL moving to the middle order and replace Karthik to give stability in this area, he is better off facing the old ball.

 

Sure our slow starts have not hurt us, but they will against superior opponents, we need to prepare ourselves for a very likely semi final place after Pakistan choked vs Zimb.

 

India's goal of playing finals is almost achieved. Our next phase should be settling on  the right combination to help us beat teams like Australia/England/NZ in finals.

Why not play hooda or pant..Ashwin against lefties ....axars bowling will be useless as he will be targeted.hooda being off spinner..can be useful and pant will bring the left hand angle. Maybe replace Rahul with pant

Can happen to other team, Indian team isn't known for this kind of experimentation midway .. India can only hope that KLR will come good. Pant has 55+ matches under his belt,his fault that he hasn't made it count..

What if their 2 right handers have a partnership, u gotta be prep for every situation, he is good at hitting SLA and SA will use maharaj against us 

Hooda batting anyways is nothing great against high pace bounce

 

Im not a fan of to much chopping changing, teams will never be set and performing with too much changing. 

 

As far as KL vs Pant, KL has too much quality so as of now id like to back him. As much as i like pant reality is he has been a complete failure in t20i

Don't even try to get Bavuma out. Don't bowl on his stumps, if it is hitting his pads dont appeal, drop him everytime there is a catch, dont throw at his end for a run out.
